   I grew up with Madonna-always was a fan-always will be-these bring back fond memories. She is incomparable if you ask me-so don’t even try it please. Love her!

   That was a very hot 80s summer. With like a virgin behind and papa don’t preach coming up few months later, that was the time when Madonna concurred the world. Even back then, you had to love her or hate her but never something in between. Madonna was adored by her growing fan base and hated by the haters. To my recollection, that concert was shortly after she declared to the world that she was “not ashamed”. People were in awe of her and didn’t even know how to respond to her assertiveness, freshness, fire engine lips and that sexy I own the world laugh. In our eyes she could do no wrong. Even if she would dress as mother Tresa we just adored her madjestic sexiness. Everywhere she went she created a heat wave as she does to very this day.

   Is there anyone on the face of this planet that hasn’t been directly or indirectly touched by Madonna.

   Coy, unashamed, talented, campy, sexy, street, ghetto, high street, driven, Madonna. Whitney dreamed and sang about being every woman. But Madonna was and is every woman.

     GaGa is a Madonna wannabe. She doesn’t have what it takes to keep the public interested. She’ll run out of costumes eventually. She doesn’t have anything else to keep her in the spotlight. If she did, then she wouldn’t need costumes. It’s as simple as that.

   Even though she was new on the scene, Madonna was definitely the star of Live Aid and the most-anticipated performer. She was so charming and cute and seemed to have a great time during her performance. It was embarrassing when her voice cracked during “Love Makes the World Go Round” but no one cared. That’s star quality, baby.

   I remember watching this and recording it off MTV. It was an amazing day…..Madonna was just coming off her Virgin Tour and did Live Aid. I was so excited when she came on…….and doing “Love Makes The World Go Round” was amazing, until her voice cracked…..but that’s OK….she was good.

   I do wonder what those people were shouting at her….after years of listening to the tape, I still can’t make out what they were shouting at her….

   I also thought it was funny that MTV VJ Martha Quinn said that Madonna’s new single was called “All Dressed Up”…..I laughed and eventually she did correct herself.

   If you get a chance to see it, notice the engagement ring on her finger…..she’d just gotten engaged to Sean at the time……
