Madonna was recovering at home on Wednesday after suffering several broken bones in a riding accident at her country estate, her spokeswoman said. “She is recovering at home,” Barbara Charone said. “We don’t have any other update at this stage.”
The singer was rushed to a local hospital in Salisbury by film director Ritchie yesterday and later discharged. She is due to release her new album “Confessions on a Dancefloor” in November. Charone said she did not expect Madonna’s injuries, which will take weeks to heal, to affect the launch or promotion of the record. “As far as I know, nothing’s been affected,” Charone said.
