Madonna and Prince will attend tonight’s BRIT Awards in London.
The two A-listers join the huge list of stars confirmed to be on-hand at tonight’s ceremony at London’s Earl’s Court.
And rumour has it that while Madonna sits on her wonderful arse and enjoys the show, Prince will actually perform, although this has not been confirmed by organisers.
Meanwhile, Kaiser Chiefs and James Blunt are likely to be biting their nails at present, as tonight they will battle it out for top honours at the star-studded ceremony. Both are nominated for five awards apiece.
Battling it out for the MTV Base-supported British Urban Act are Dizzee Rascal, Ms Dynamite, Lemar, Kano and Craig David.
Show will be broadcasted tommorow at 8.00 pm on ITV1.

It has been a whirlwind of a week with Madonna performing at the Grammy’s. I hope you all enjoyed the performance. Backstage at the Grammy’s, Madonna’s assistants and stylist spelled her name out in roses on the floor to help her feel less nervous about the upcoming performance. Even so, at the last minute some crystals fell off of her Miu Miu shoes and the stylist was on the floor gluing them back on! Luckily, the girls pulled it off just in time for Madonna to join the Gorillaz on stage for this epic performance. After the show, there was a party in Madonna honor where her and her friends danced all night and celebrated their success. I wish I had some pics, but there were NO cameras allowed into the party. I did manage to snap a rehearsal shot! I hope you enjoy!

Madonna will follow the Rolling Stones’ example when she tours the world this summer – by mixing up dates between theatres, sports arenas and stadiums.
The pop superstar insists the ever-changing venues will stop her from getting “bored” on the road.
She explains, “Originally I had the idea that I wanted to do a little bit of everything – some small, some sports arenas and then stadiums.”
The tour will kick off in Los Angeles in May. Full dates and venues are yet to be announced.
…This year’s “TRL Awards” will present its most coveted awards to two of the biggest names in music. “The Lifetime Achievement Award” will be presented to Madonna who over the course of her career has impacted not only her fans, but other musicians. By always reinventing herself, Madonna has stayed popular and relevant throughout her career. The massive success of her album, and her video “Hung Up” on the TRL countdown, shows her popularity with the MTV viewers. Past recipients of this award have been P Diddy and Eminem. The “TRL Awards” will also acknowledge Bono, for his incredible humanitarian efforts, with the “Most Inspired Artist Award.” This award was created for artists who transcend the world of music to make a profound impact on MTV’s
audience, as well as people around the globe. By giving Bono this award, MTV will thank him for all of his amazing work, and give viewers yet another opportunity to become more involved with issues that truly matter…
The 4th Annual TRL Awards are set to air on Saturday, February 25th at 12PM ET/PT.

Wheather you think she’s butch or beautiful, there is no doubt that, at 47, Madonna’s figure is impressive.
And the queen of pop admitted last week that part of the reason she works hard to keep herself slim and sexy is to please her man.
“I wish I were comfortable enough to look zaftig [pleasingly plump],” she said.
“But I choose men who like carved-out women, the can-you-run-for-the-bus? kind of guy.”
But the good news is we can all reap the health benefits of Madonna’s lifestyle without five hours of yoga and dance classes every day.
So how does she maintain a body most 20-somethings would die for? We asked Sofia Boutella, the 23-year-old Algerian-born backing dancer on Madonna’s recent tour, to reveal the age-defying 47-year-old’s secrets of staying in shape.

Guy Ritchie has quashed rumours his marriage to Madonna is in trouble.
Speculation has been rife in recent weeks the pair’s relationship is on the rocks because the director is furious his sexy wife has been spending hours with music producer, Stuart Price.
The rumours intensified last week after Guy failed to accompany Madonna to the Grammy awards, where she was performing a collaboration with animated band Gorillaz.
The ‘Snatch’ filmmaker has spoken out about his no-show at the prestigious ceremony claiming he didn’t go because he had to look after the couple’s children, Rocco and Lourdes – Madonna’s daughter by Carlos Leon.
He told Britain’s Radio 1: “I’ve got to look after the kids. She wasn’t winning anything but I know it was important for her to go.”
Madonna, 47, has also played split rumours this week – insisting the couple speak to each other five minutes when they are apart.
She told US chat show host Ellen Degeneres: “He still calls me every five minutes. We both work so it’s difficult with our schedules. The longest we’ve been apart is two weeks, and that was five years ago.”

“I’ve heard it all before… I don’t wanna hear, I don’t wanna know… I can’t take it any more,” states Madge, aloof, matter-of-fact. She’s having a mare (as the sleeve photo would suggest). But with whom? Tabloids, as is their way, are awash with rumour and supposed hearsay about our heroine’s marriage. Could the lyrics of Sorry refer to matters particularly close to home, or are they simply well-structured invention?
Whatever, for as with Confessions On A Dancefloor’s lead single Hung Up, Stuart Jacques Lu Cont Price’s bass-laden production genius is the reason for owning this. Impossible not to move to, it’s fresh, energetic and life affirming. There’s more where this came from, too – from the same album, I Love New York, Jump and Let It Will Be are all just as strong.
Madonna has spent in excess of two decades at the top of her game, selling over 200 million albums in the process, for a reason. Whatever the gossip columns come up with, records as strong as Sorry speak for themselves, and the dancefloor will be filled for a while yet.
