Darren Hayes has admitted that he finds Madonna’s overt displays of sexuality “frightening”.
The former Savage Garden star watched the pop queen on her most recent tour and was shocked by a sequence in which she pole-danced to her 1986 hit ‘Like A Virgin’.
He told Attitude: “I adore Madonna, of course. But the moral dilemma I have from watching Madonna and then watching something like The Pussycat Dolls is that their sexuality is almost a little bit frightening.
“She sets up the premise that she is the master. When she got on a pole on her last tour it kind of worked because she wasn’t the object of everyone’s desire. ”

Madonna’s adoption of Malawi-born David Banda is taking baby steps in the right direction.
Malawi’s Child Welfare Services Director, Penstone Kilembe, was given permission to visit her Madgesty andobserve the family after initially being refused an exit visa. The refusal, he claimed, could’ve hindered Madonna and Guy’s efforts to adopt Banda. Kilembe arrives in London September 4.
“There has been a change of mind by my government minister,” Kilembe said. “I am expected to spend two weeks.”
Madonna is “looking forward to this so her adoption process is not hampered,” Kilembe told Reuters Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ritchie were granted temporary custody of David after his biological father Yohane Banda, placed his son in an orphanage after the death of his wife (and David’s mother).

Justin Timberlake talked to Access Hollywood today and said Madonna will not join him on stage at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards as first reported by Canada’s Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday.
Madonna has topped a new list of bad girls gone good, beating off Drew Barrymore and Mary J. Blige.
Editors at In Touch magazine have crowned the Material Girl as the ultimate reformed woman in their upcoming issue.
They write, “Madonna is a devoted mom these days, but back in the ’80s and ’90s, she was every mother’s worst nightmare! “Whether expressing herself in racy videos or posing nude for her Sex book, she was determined to shock.”

Are the two really teaming up to perform together at MTV’s Video Music Awards next month in Las Vegas?
An MTV rep just told me, “It’s a fantastic rumor.”? Reps for Timberlake and Madonna did not comment.
Here’s what I’m hearing: There are no concrete plansyet.
Producers, a source tells me, have spoken to J.T. about it. And the idea has been presented to Madonna. “She is interested,”? my source reports.
Madge should be interested. There’s no one better at transforming herself into what people want right now than the original Material Girl. A hookup with the 26-year-old Timberlake could mean only one thing: more fans!
Four years ago, Madonna made international headlines by kissing Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera onstage at the VMAs.
Entertainment Tonight Canada has reported that Madonna and Justin Timberlake are scheduled to perform together during the live broadcast of the MTV Video Music Awards (September 9th).
