Darren Hayes has admitted that he finds Madonna’s overt displays of sexuality “frightening”.
The former Savage Garden star watched the pop queen on her most recent tour and was shocked by a sequence in which she pole-danced to her 1986 hit ‘Like A Virgin’.
He told Attitude: “I adore Madonna, of course. But the moral dilemma I have from watching Madonna and then watching something like The Pussycat Dolls is that their sexuality is almost a little bit frightening.
“She sets up the premise that she is the master. When she got on a pole on her last tour it kind of worked because she wasn’t the object of everyone’s desire. ”
