Madonna's lawyers are fighting to stop a collection of love letters and intimate photographs being made public at the same time as she tries to make her adoption of a Malawian baby permanent.
The 17 notes and seven Polaroid snaps she sent in the early 1990s to then boyfriend James Albright were recently sold to an investment company specialising in Madonna memorabilia.
The firm is now touting them around to the highest bidder and hoping to make more than £100,000.
Some of the pictures, which the singer took of herself, show her naked in explicit poses.
The collection also includes personal items such as underwear which Madonna apparently sent to Albright during their two-year relationship.
Although she repeatedly posed nude at the time for her controversial coffee-table book, Sex, she is understood to be devastated about the arrival of such items on the market - particularly at such a sensitive time.
The head of Malawi's child welfare service is about to spend a week with Madonna and her family in London to assess whether they are fit to adopt baby David Banda permanently.

that's not funny actully james albright wasn't even cute. not to me I saw pictures of him in one of her madonna's biographys he wasn't that good looking Guy Ritchie is waaaaayyyyyyy better looking than he is. I don't know what he looks like now james albright but I'm just saying in the early 90's not that good looking. Not so hot!!!! To me james albright wasn't back in the day the early 90's. That is.

Or look her up on youtube there are a ton of videos from the early 90's and I'll tell ya it ain't pretty. And just to be clear she didn't have any of that influence, real feelings all she cared about was herself back in the day plus she was rude and mean especially during some of those scenes from truth or dare and other things like talk shows and interviews she did back in the day. I know one thing why madonna will win this this whole adoption thing not only does she love this little baby so much davie her husband really loves him I love that one picture of them where he's teaching davie how to fly like playing airplane. and he has a big smile on his face !!!!! So cute!!!! But also her 2 other kids rocco and lola love him to death.!!!! His face was really cute guy ritchie.!!!!! But it's nice that she has kept him out of the papparazzi so that was smart that's why I know she will win this baby. !!!! They will win. It. Him little david. So all is well.
