…Christopher Ciccone’s “extraordinary” story has been the subject of much hype in recent months, with the industry anticipating a mystery memoir.

Simon & Schuster have now unmasked the writer, who has previously worked closely with the singer as a creative advisor for her live show.

“Life With My Sister Madonna” will have a first print run of 350,000 in July and the publishers expect great things of the book.

“Ciccone’s extraordinary memoir is based on his life and 47 years of growing up with and working with his sister – the most famous woman in the world”, they said.

Ciccone and his sister are not said to be close anymore, according to the star’s spokeswoman, Liz Rosenberg.

Speaking about the book, she said: “Madonna has not cooperated with any biography about herself.”
