Madonna’s lover Warren Beatty was so convinced she was cheating on him he rifled through her bins.

Christopher Ciccone, the singer’s brother, tells in a new book how he found misguided Beatty going through rubbish at her LA home at 3am.

Actor Beatty, 71, was a notorious womaniser.

But Christopher says: “Warren, operator that he has always been, had the sense to recognise his equal in Madonna.”

The pair dated in 1989 when Madonna played Breathless Mahoney in Warren’s movie Dick Tracy.

In Life With My Sister Madonna, Christopher, 47, also claims the star compared herself to Marilyn Monroe after allegedly bedding president’s son John F Kennedy Jr.

According to her brother, she boasted: “I feel like I’m repeating Marilyn and the president.”
