   I agree with you that most of the songs are weak dance tracks, but Ring My Bell, which is another song on the Japanese version of the album, and She’s Not Me are also about him; couldn’t be no one else that affect her the way she has written the songs. Ring My Bell is very sad to me.

   The reason why her songs to Guy reverberated so much with me, making it seem to me that most of the songs are to him is because they reveal someone who’s shoes I’ve been in. Guy and my ex-husband seem too much the same. I felt like she feels: he was once a friend, and now he is a stranger who is abusive. So she did write from her feelings, but having the dance tracks took away from their power. Also, making the actual hate mail danceable instead of serious also muted their effect, which is why people haven’t caught on. Thanks for the feedback to me.

   Not sure about that. There are a few songs like that, Miles Away, Devil and Voices but not the whole album.
   I think a lot of the lyrics are kind of shallow about dancing. I think the album would have been better if she had written more about her real feelings.

   Guy also seems to be grasping Madonna tightly, not assisting her, but guiding her, pushing or pulling her.

   If anyone has even bothered to listen to Hard Candy, it is one big hate letter to Guy, about their failed relationship. I’m deeply surprised no one has seen this in the lyrics of most of the songs; that’s why this is the worst album she has ever made.

   With all of this talk about Madonna and Guy divorcing, you would think that someone in the media would have noticed the lyrics by now!
