all about Madonna

Well, I was there yesterday night. What a deception, even though, I'm a huge fan for more than 18 years. Technical problems, Madonna not singing in the right tone, and no communication with the fans. Of course, french people are not very gifted for foreign languages and obviously didn't understand what Madonna said. But with children speaking french as fluently as if it was their mothertongue, coudn't she have asked Lourdes for instance, if she could translate a few words in french, that Madonna would have learned to please us? It was as if she was one (the most important) piece of the mechanics of the show, but "nothing more".
As you see, I have been very disappointed, but also worried for Madonna, whose right thigh seems injuried, because one could see a 10 or 15 centimeter bandage yesterday night. And it took a long time for her to get into the show, she seemed not to take any pleasure in dancing and singing (which was incorrect indeed) and after a few songs she said (not playing a game obviously) "Jesus, I'm feeling tired", while nearly falling into the arms of one of her dancer. I said to myself "is she going to be able to go to the end of all the sheduled dates?"... Jesus knows !

Anyway, even though I have been disappointed by the two first parts, the two lasts were better and Madonna, as well as me, took much more pleasure in these.

If you have sheduled a concert, I hope for you that the technical problems will be fixed by the time, that Madonna will have a better energy and that you will like it a lot !

anything, it was brilliant and everybody loved, that's true that the French are always critical, never happy but yesterday Madonna knew how to set fire it was wonderful!!!

GEbaix, thanks for posting that. i'm quite concerned that she said she was tired, etc, cause she has A LOT more dates to get through. i just hope she can do it all. =)

I'm a Madonna fan but I think Madonna just threw this concert together. I don't think her heart is into it. That tophat looks ridiculous on her head. Even though she's fit, she's going to have to face the fact that she's getting up there in years and the body breaks down eventually, little by little. She needs to direct her creativity elsewhere.

How! horrible is the outfit of the two girls dancers the horrible black shirt and gloves!, tennis! and the hairdo!!! iiuu! I don't know who hired that fashion designer I could do some stuffs better with my eyes closed and not that clothes that look like a grandmom style
and I think There's a lot of black in all the outfit that madonna wear.
And I didn't like either the top hat is out of place!
I'm a huge madonna fan but I didn't like this i hope when she comes to mexico in november she will make some ajustments starting by throwing out that hat!

She´s doing her best on this tour, her voice and look are FANTASTIC...there are some highlights on the show such as candy shop, human nature, you must love me, LIKE A PRAYER was insaaaaaaaaaaaaannneeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, let´s support her and not critizing like a bunch of demanding old folks!!!!! She´s doing her best and she´s the major...stop complainging for christ sake!!!!!!

Why does this site attract so many right-wing Madonna haters, or are these fans just very immature?

Hard Candy is a really terrific album and if you do not like the album or the song selection you should not buy tickets for the show, capice?

And as far as I know, Madonna speaks french fairly well, if she didn't speak french in Nice there is a reason why.

She is showing up at some of these venues without them being sold out,and I think she is probably pissed off. The Nice show sold out only right before showtime. Considering the volume of art and entertainment that she has produced over the last 25 years, she is probably enraged that her fans are not selling out the shows. And probably offended. I really don't blame her. But I don't think she understands that people are worried about economic issues and are waiting until close to the show to see if they have the money to spend.

Madonna doesn't speak French fluently at all. If you saw I'm Going to Tell You a Secret, she had to ask her daughter how to say a very simple sentence in French.
And if you aren't fluent in French and can't do a perfect accent in French, do not ever try to speak French in France. Or you wil be very much riduculed! I know because I once tried, Big mistake!
Madonna was probably joking when she said she was tired! She's done the same thing at other concerts.
She has a tiny scratch on her leg, hardly life threatening or makes her handicapped.

That´s right...LET´S SUPPORT OUR QUEEN...i remembered when blond ambition came out, and everyone was chocked by the like a virgin number, and everyone said to quit going to see the show...it was aired like a outragious thing, and, you see, the BA is an icon tour, so, stop complaining, cause after the confessions we thought she woudnt go on tour for at least 5 years, and them, just 2 years later, SHE´S BACK, so, let´s enjoy the moment and have fun with this GORGEOUS SHOW!!!!!! Let´s change the spirit right now!!!! Bad vibrations from her own fans, what a shame!!!! viva madonna!!!

After reading all of the negative comments from fans who have seen the show, I'm worried if she'll be able to go on with the show...the fact that she is having no interaction and even no "thank you" to the crowd means she must not like performing...and all of the technical problems that have been reported...I thought she was a perfectionist and also spent 600+ hours praticing....and now the rumors that she's not going to be able to finish the tour...I'm VERY worried.

Hurrah!!! Finally people supporting her - that's good to know!! I'm sure she'll be fine and the tour will be fine too. If she were unable to go on tour, she wouldn't go. There's some tension or whatever that is in the air right now as far as the tour goes, confusion I would say, but it will go. Love Madonna. Go for it!!! Enjoy the show guys!

I also wanted to add that I miss her smiling and laughing on tour. So far haven't seen a picture where she gives us a smile.

There have been plenty of pictures of her smiling. Where have you heard rumors she is going to quit the tour. I haven't heard that at all.
And when has Madonna ever said Thank You between songs or talked to the audience? That's not what she does in any of her shows.

Madonna looks very very tense on this tour and not quite as confident, maybe? I'd heard that there was so much tension during rehearsals that she fired several dancers and suffered from severe mood swings. Perhaps she going through menopause.

I would like to apologize if what I wrote got some of you angry. I just wanted to express my deception, because I wanted the best for that concert and i did not. After reading the news about the technical problems in Nice (see http://uk.news.yahoo.com/wenn/20080828/ten-madonna-meltdown-at-tour-technical-f-c60bd6d.html) I guess the performance was disappointing because of these problems. And I really feel sorry for Madonna because I guess it must be difficult for her to be confronted to such problems at the beginning of the tour. Nevertheless, I checked some videos on You Tube from the concert of Berlin and it sounds like it has been much better. Guess we didn't have chance.

I hope the best for all of you who will see her in the next months and a HUGE SUCCESS to the Queen of Pop...
