What’s Brad Pitt listening to on his headphones in the new Coen brothers movie that makes him rock out so much?

“Madonna,” director Joel Coen tells me. “But we used something else on the actual soundtrack.”

“Something from Madonna,” co-director/writer Ethan Coen concurred. “I don’t know which song though.”

Whichever one of Madonna’s old hits it was, Pitt will have to thank the Material Mom when his reviews start pouring in from “Burn After Reading.”

She may not have been on his arm for the Toronto Film Festival premiere of RocknRolla (blame her touring schedule!) but Guy Ritchie says his wife Madonna was there for him throughout the making of the film.

“She’s been very supportive,” Ritchie, 39, told People. “It was great.”

That said, he told reporters that he didn’t know the secret of a happy marriage. “That’s a toughie,” he conceded. “If you know, you tell me.”

The stars of Ritchie’s film also had tons of praise for the Material Girl, who often visited the set.

“She’s gorgeous,” Toby Kebbell said. “A lovely, stunning woman.”

Added Ludacris: “Madonna was so low key and so incognito that I hardly noticed her, and when I did it kinda caught me by storm. But honestly speaking, she’s a really down to earth, really cool individual. I’m glad I got a chance to meet her – rub some of that energy off!”

Madonna’s husband Guy Ritchie has fired back at former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee for poking fun at his wife during the Republican National Convention speech.

Huckabee, who was at one point among those fighting Senator John McCain for the party’s presidential candidacy, took aim at Madonna while addressing tabloid stories about Alaskan governor Sarah Palin and her pregnant teenage daughter on Wednesday.

Palin was named McCain’s running mate just days before details of her 17-year-old daughter’s pregnancy was revealed – leading to a media frenzy.

Conservative Huckabee addressed the fuss, stating, “The reporting of the past few days have proven tackier than a costume change at a Madonna concert.”

Ritchie has been left defending his touring wife at the Toronto Film Festival in Canada – and he’s having a laugh at Huckabee’s expense.

He says, “Someone had to tell me who Mike Huckabee was. I gather he had some disparaging remarks to make about my wife… and I really like her costume changes.”
