Yes, this is very ugly. I wish it weren’t happening. I’d like to see Madonna in a happy, stable union with Guy. We’ll never know what really happened there. Mostly what we’ll get is spin from either side. I can imagine that falling from that horse and being so sick (perhaps the most powerless Madonna has been as an adult) was just DEVASTATING for a control freak like Madonna. Perhaps Guy really didn’t step up to the plate. Maybe she can’t forgive him for this abandonment.
Is Madonna tough to live with? I bet she is. I’d say that her obsessive compulsive behavior did grate on Guy. Perhaps it is getting worse. I’d say that truly, Madonna needs to find a way of being that is quite unrelated to being a sex kitten. How can she be fierce and still be willing to show a wrinkle? It’s a tough road. I’m glad I’m not on it myself. But I’d hate to see Madonna being some sort of Baby Jane Hudson. Sometimes M. does like like Bette Davis–and this is cool. But Baby Jane Hudson–let’s hope not.

I don’t know how anyone can say that Guy Ritchie is/was a gold digger. He doesn’t want any of her money. He’s too independent for that. He doesn’t need it. Even though everyone thought that Christopher Ciccone should never have written his book, the true Madonna is in there for everyone to see. Her Achilles heel is FEAR OF PEOPLE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF HER. It’s ruining her life. She’s now putting her needs and Kabbalah ahead of her children. Guy didn’t like Kabbalah and Madonna couldn’t deal with it. She’s a shell of her former self. She’ll end up like Michael Jackson - a laughing stock. I’ve been a huge fan of Madonna’s since her beginnings but I’ve come to the end of the road.
