These pictures show how healthy and attractive Madonna looked back then. She’s now a shell of her former self. She’s turning into Michael Jackson, too much facial work, becoming too much of a control freak surrounded by sycophants. Now she’s bashing her husband Guy and spying on him. It’s very sad and disgusting at the same time.

I agree with you all, lads…but the dress with her in it is quite..well..out of place…and it surely makes one feel a litte sad..not because she was actually wearing white..whatever pleases her, is just find with me…it’s just..that it is so obvious that she tries so very, very hard to act snf be – if only remote – classy…but: she’s not..and that makes one so, so sad….It seems that underneath that all there is somewhere lost the person she denies to be and instead started to invent herself only with the result never to be satisfied in the long run but getting scared that others might see trough it…well, as if the people she gathers around her would care who she is…

i recall around the time M was going to be married
i saw a brief news report on the chapel M was going
to be married in
in the video report, the camera panned up to show
a stained glass rose window with an image of the Virgin Mary holding baby Jesus that was behind the chapels main alter
what was genuinely shocking to me,
was that the face of the Virgin in the window looked EXACTLY
like M looks, only a bit younger, and without any makeup
when i saw it, i had to do a double-take
really strange, really beautiful,
and a bit unnerving to see such a likeness of M
on a window that has been around far longer than M has
the Virgin in the rose window was wearing a dark-blue
almost cobalt like cloak, the inner cowl she was wearing was
almost black, and the look on the Virgin’s face was genuinely
stark and very serious, less serene and her skin was a pale
cream-like color…and her eyes and face…JUST LIKE M’s
i thought to myself, how ironic and lucky that there
was chapel with a stained-glass rose window that was
the spitting image of M, and for M to be wed in a chapel
that had the Virgin Mary’s image so closely resemble M
truly strange
Also, the full length image of Madonna with the veil down, coming through a doorway would be–to any Catholic–truly uncanny in how much she looks like the Blessed Virgin Mary–the crown and veil, the downcast eyes. It’s really kinda bizarre, the resemblance.

i have never seen these pics before, i think it’s a bit odd
that they have been made public at this particular time

it’s a glimpse into the happiness M once had
M will be much stronger after all this divorce business
is all over with, M needs her close family / friends to help

Maggie please. there are millions of women who get married everyday who aren’t virgins, have been married before, have children, etc. I don’t know if you’re aware, but it’s 2008! I am so happy these pictures have finally been posted. We waited 7 1/2 years to see them! She looks stunning!
The tradition of white wedding gowns originated in 1840 when Queen Victoria was married in a white gown. It is simply a fashion and has nothing to do with proclaiming one’s virginity. That idea came much later and is actually quite vulgar and mysoginist.

Firstly – thanks to whoever posted these pix, the Mail on Sunday was sold out by the time I got a chance to buy it – : (
I think Madonna looked amazing, I love what she was wearing – it’s so sad that it’s not worked out for them.
As far as following tradition and not being ‘appropriate’ is concerned – I think her attitude to her critics would have been ‘fuck you’ – as always! She’s done what she wanted – good on her. Perhaps that’s one of the many reasons that’s she’s kept this pictures private for all these years – too many people have too much to say about her – well now it really doesn’t matter does it!
