It seems Lindsay Lohan has been given the green light to record with Madonna.

Lohan told journalists at an event on Monday she has set her sights on recording a duet with the pop superstar – and apparently the Material Girl is up for the idea.

Lohan said, “That would be incredible. That would be beyond…”

News show Extra put the duet idea to Madonna herself, who responded “Yeah sure. Why not?”

   i hope M is NOT going to record a ” duet ”
   with Lindsay Lowlife

   M needs to concentrate on her pending divorce,
   the needs of her children, and finishing up the
   second leg of the Sticky & Sweet tour

   Lindsay needs to go back the rehab facility
   she escaped from, and concentrate on not
   shoveling cocaine of her well-worn snatch

   Madonna + Pink
   Madonna + Christina Aguilera ………
