Madonna wraps the North American leg of her Sticky & Sweet tour tonight in front of 50,000 people at Dolphin Stadium in Miami.
The 28 dates in North America have grossed about $91.5 million and moved about 550,000 tickets, according to tour producer Arthur Fogel, chairman of global music for Live Nation.
Next up is Mexico City, beginning Nov. 29. Counting her European run, Madonna is currently at about $207.5 million in ticket sales and on a pace to hit about $282 million when Mexico/South America wraps. That would make Sticky & Sweet the top-grossing tour ever by a female artist or solo artist.
The tour wraps Dec. 18 – 21 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

looks a bit more raw, and the camera man stays very
close to both M and Jamie King
most of the 7 min. clip was focused only on the
audition process for the hundreds of dancers who
tried out for a spot dancing on the Sticky & Sweet tour
i recall just before the Sticky & Sweet tour kicked off,
there was a brief mention of Alek Keshishian documenting
the first 3 weeks of M’s new tour
does anyone know if perhaps there will be full

i have been into M’s sound ever since i heard,
and saw the video for Lucky Star way back in 83′
then i heard the song Everybody, and Borderline,
and my interest was peaked, and still is to this day
so it’s been Mad-love for her and her sound ever since
then, and it is (for the most part) unwavering on my behalf
i myself have seen M live 5 times in my life,
once on the Virgin Tour, twice on the Blonde Ambition tour,
and once on the Drowned World tour, i wish i could have seen
the Confessions tour.
that is my very favorite concert tour from M
i was able to come face to face with her when
M did an in-store CD signing for the Music album
good times!
sad to say,
i ran into her loser of a guy in the elevator
when i was there (not so good times)
i am looking forward to seeing the Sticky & Sweet
tour when it’s either released in DVD or iTunes

It is really quite amazing. I followed her from the beginning of the tour, the preparations, the training, and then all the resistance she has had! The accusations of her brother, the speculations about her marriage,the her divorce, and she just keeps on going. Incredible. She must be made from steel.

I was just saying exactly so, it’d be a pitty to not have the biggest tour ever by a female with only 58+ dates, only becoz of not adding some extra dates at the beginning of the next year. I will be not only a record in overall gross, but also a record as per every show, and that will be like 2 records:
1. The biggest grossing tour by a female
2. The best grossing tour by a a musician 9biggest gross per each date)

I think Miles Away not receiving video treatment, had to do production logistics, and marketing calculation(perhaps miscalculation) by Warner brothers. The maxi single is selling well though and it is beginning to get some airplay. In Germany and the Netherlands the single is doing well.

I agree with you, Madonna deserves what she gets. She works hard and always puts on grand all around shows. Her production costs are high but nevertheless, with such great sale figures, the tour will not only be the highest earning tour by a female but by any artist or band, considering the fact that she has achieved these figures in less than 5 months.
I have been a Madonna fan since her first record ‘everybody’ and feel ashamed for missing this tour. The set fragments that I have seen on the internet are out of this world and just fantastic. I can’t wait for the DVD to come out. But DVD can neither compare nor compete with Madonna live on stage in an Arena or Stadium in front of thousands excited Madonna fans. Madonna fans in general don
it’s been reported in numerous publications that Guy is walking away with a nice hefty chunk of change. he’s not leaving the marriage with only his money…he is also walking away with maddy’s money.
her real estate in england is being sold and Guy is getting a lot of that money. maybe people should read AP news articles and other publication’s articles so they know what is going on.
it would be upstanding if he walked away with nothing more than what he brought in and what he personally earned…that’s how ANY marriage should be when it ends. but from all reports out there, he is doing quite well for himself with this divorce.
i was one of the few that couldn’t stand him from the start….yeah he was pretty hot in the beginning but he was still a douchebag. but i didn’t like him from the start and i like him even less now. thank friggen god she’s rid of him. hopefully now her creativity will come back and we’ll have the inspired one of a kind madonna we were so used to…the one i’ve loved for 25+ years.
and to her tour gross…whereas i loathe this tour, i’m elated that she’s done so well with it. in the end she’ll be close to $300 mil and that’s awesome. stick that in your hat and smoke it ya lambs!

Guy ritchie is walking away without a penny more then what he brought to the marriage. Please do some research he wasn’t a poor man when they got married. He makes about 7-9 Million dollars a year nothing compared to what Madonna makes true, but he is sticking to his word of not taking a penny from her. He is only walking away with what he brought to the marriage.
Anyway congratulations to Madonna for the HUGE/MASSIVE success of her Sticky and Sweet Tour. She works really hard and deserves all this, and much more.
