The rumour mill has been on and off for the Australian leg of Madonna’s world tour but a leaked itinery on the internet confirms that Madonna will bring her Sticky + Sweet tour to Australia in September.
The dates had been accidently posted on Madonna’s promoter’s website yesterday but swiftly taken down.
The Material Girl is expected to perform shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane.
Tour dates, that are set to be confirmed this week, are:
September 24: ANZ Stadium, Sydney, NSW
September 26: Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, QLD
September 29: Telstra Dome, Melbourne, VIC
TBA: Perth, WA

If she doesn’t come to the Netherlands and Belgium, Paris, Berlin are the most convenient venues for fans from Benelux countries. I think I am going to choose Berlin, because the last time I attended Madonna concert in Paris, people in the front rows almost got squashed from all that bushing. Bercy is a fairly large but very cosy venue. But with Madonna and her fans it tends to get too hot to bare.

I guess CD sales and merchandise are suffering as a result of the American economy. Smart woman indeed. Tours again in Europe and not USA. With all the money she has, I would be spending time with my children and giving my children 100% of my time during their difficult time of losing their father. I hope she comes to Rotterdam’s ‘de Kuip’. The last time that she came here, it was in summer of 1990. She came when half of the city was on summer vacation. Nevertheless the venue was almost sold out(90%) about 40000 tickets were sold. She looked great in those bullet bras, but I like her sticky and sweet costumes too. Especially the first parts: Beat Goes On and Vogue. She is a Rock Goddess all the way. But I hope she does the original version of Hung Up. I think the original version of Hun Up is a pure disco/ club joy and needs no revising at all.

Wow. It is so great. I am going to see her for sure. I missed the first round of the tour. But now I am going to be standing in the first row regardless of how much I have to pay and what how long I have to wait and where in Europe she goes. I hope I get to see her before her next birthday in august, because Madonna at fifty is a milestone that needs to be celebrated in grand Madonna style.

I also LOVE the Sticky and Sweet tour as-is; I think many people would agree when they see the DVD with all of the effects added (which hopefully doesn’t get delayed) I went to Confessions Tour, here in Miami I was 20yrs old back then and I found the show quite boring (with some highlights) but sticky and sweet was entertainment all the way!!!!
