Pop star Madonna has said she may adopt another child from the poor southern African country of Malawi despite the controversy surrounding an earlier adoption.
Critics accused the government of skirting laws that ban non-residents from adopting children in Malawi, which has been badly hit by the AIDS epidemic, after Madonna took on David Banda.
“Many people — especially our Malawian friends — say that David should have a Malawian brother or sister,” she said in response to emailed questions from Malawi’s the Nation newspaper.
“It’s something I have been considering, but would only do, if I had the support of the Malawian people and the Government.”
A Malawian court approved the adoption of David last year.
Madonna has said the controversy had been difficult to deal with but she was happy to be involved in a case that might pave the way for more adoptions in Malawi. An estimated one million children in the country have been orphaned by AIDS.
Madonna, who began adoption proceedings in 2006, took David when he was 13-months-old after his father had placed him in an orphanage following the death of his wife.
David is growing up in the high-flying life of a leading popstar, worlds away from his village of Lipunga, where Banda’s relatives eat staple food like maize meal from simple bowls and meals are cooked on open fires.
Madonna said she wanted to keep him connected to his homeland.
“It is a big priority for me to educate my son about the world, but always to stay connected to his Malawian culture,” she said.
“He has a big map of Africa in his room with lots of arrows pointing to Malawi.”
Madonna said her divorce from film director Guy Ritchie would not deprive their children of either parent.
“I believe in family. So, everything between us is very amicable…we both agree that our children should always feel a deep connection with both their parents. It is our responsibility to give them that foundation,” she said.”

madonna should absolutely adopt another child from malawi. any child living with madonna would have each and every one of his or her needs met. just look at her children… they seem like very happy human beings (when they’re not being harassed by paparazzi).
I honestly don’t think Madonna is having an intimate relationship with Jesus. I think she is marketing herself so that she continues to spread her demographics to the younger generations. However I do believe that the behavior is mutual in that Jesus is benefiting for his modeling career. There appears to be no lust in their eyes when they are together-they just look good together when photographed.

Oh please, ofcourse they have a sexual relationship going on. Madonna doesn’t need a younger guy to appeal to a younger demographic. If anything, that would/has horrified the younger demographic. Madonna is using him for sex and to boost her on ego (which apparently Kabbalah hasn’t been able to control contrary to her ranting and raving), and Jesus is just using her b/c he realizes this is a stupid woman so why not get exposure out of our fling.
I don’t know if Madonna adopting another kid at the moment is such a good idea. She needs to focus on her current kids, getting her life on track, and just charity for Malawi. You don’t need to adopt a kid to be charitable. Besides, what difference does it make if she does adopt, just more work for the nanny. I mean, do you think Madonna helps her kids with their homework. I don’t think she really gives a damn much about their education, or she wouldn’t have been traveling all over the world on tour last year. I’m sure that is the reason Guy left her. He wanted a stable family environment for the kids. She just wanted to full fill her ideas.
But what do you expect from a woman who once wanted to have the child of Dennis Rodman. Can’t believe she even wanted to have Rodman’s baby. What does that say about her? She would have a kid with a mentally unstable man w/o even knowing him. Doesn’t say much about her mental status either.
But anyway, seems like Jesus had a much better costume party than the lame one he went to with M on Purim at the Kabbalah Center. C’mon, he wants to be with people his own age. He is using Madonna for the exposure, and she him also (which is even more sad and pathetic for a celeb of her caliber), and for sex (which is so wrong and sad as well).

haha, madonna did NOT want rodman’s baby. she’s denied it, and even her traitor brother, christopher, who knows her better than anyone, has refuted that absurd claim.
Uh, just because she denied it, doesn’t mean its not true. And her brother did mention in the book that she considered Rodman as a potential baby daddy, when he was in her “daddy seat”.
Madonna denies half the stuff that turn out to be true. In this case I believe Rodman. She wanted to have a baby and she wanted to get knocked up by him. Sick and pathetic of her.

In many interviews you can tell the love she has for each of her children. How many other celebrities make their nanny carry the kids. i suppose christopher isn’t to be trusted. you say he wrote that rodman was a daddy chair contender in his book, but in television interviews to promote his book, he said (several times) that he never heard or saw anything about madonna wanting to have rodman’s baby. perhaps the coke and booze has him delusional.
I think you are wrong -her marketing skills have often been subtle . She knows that by association she scores points. i.e. hanging out with Jesus.
Also her recent efforts of music with Kanye,Justin Timberlake,Pharrell Williams etc show how she is still trying to remain hip.

I think the press has it wrong. I think she is in the process of adopting Jesus Luz. I mean, that seems to be the only logical explaination why she has been spending so much time with him. She plans to adopt the poor guy.
She plans to save him from the harsh 3rd world conditions of Brazil, and give him a new start with her.
