Calling all Madonna fans! The Queen of Pop is coming out with a long-awaited greatest hits collection this fall.
‘We’re hoping to have a greatest hits package come out in September,” the singer’s longtime publicist, Liz Rosenberg, tells PEOPLE. “We’re all very excited about it.”
With so many hit songs to choose from over her long career, the singer’s manager, Guy Oseary, asked fans on Twitter Tuesday which tunes they think should be included. “Working on Madonna’s greatest hits album,” he wrote. “Any tracks that you think MUST be on?”
Still, the new album won’t only feature songs her fans know and love. “Madonna does have plans to go into the studio to record a few new songs for this album,” says Rosenberg.
The greatest hits album will be Madonna’s last with Warner Records, with whom she sold more than 200 million albums. In October 2007, she ended her 27-year relationship with the label when she signed a reported $150 million deal with concert promoter Live Nation.

The new Madonna G.H. album is only gonna be Madonna’s hits from American Life to Miles Away.With a couple of new ones) I hope the new dvd collection of video hits from Music (maybe American Pie) to Miles Away (If the live video is included as a proper video!) includes the full uncut version of American Life with George Bush lighting the cigar at the end. Also be great if the new dvd collection had the Erotica video which was cut from the video collection 93:99.
I will always love me some Madge. Missed Sticky and Sweet, so hopefully her greatest hits will include concert vid. Good to see other M-fans on here!

It should be a complete singles collection, with a complete video collection dvd, and a rarities cd. Madonna needs to make a good video clip for a new single.

Number 1 in 38 countries is not what people call a tanked album. You must come from the good old USA, but please do remember there are many other parts of the world who still love her! And for once she still out sold Mariah Carey over in the US, she had and always has way more publicity for her albums and that tanked miserably. Why are you on here if you don’t like Madonna?! Why can’t you just go away?!

GHV2 suffered by not having a single release to promote it, she needs to have a huge OTT single to launch the album.

Electronica does not showcase Madonna’s great enunciation and and distinctive voice. She really needs to get back to powerful ballads ala ‘You’ll See’, Live to Tell, Love doesn’t live here, etc. Also some really great pop tunes.

i wonder if it will be a box set. i’m THRILLED to hear she’ll be recording new music. hopefully she’ll record soundtrack work for new moon while she’s at it. madonna’s original soundtrack tunes are always brilliant.
Cool! I hope there is an amazing power ballad on there. A new power ballad. I miss her ballads. She needs to record a ballad along the lines of “Live To Tell”, “This Used to be my Playground”….get together with Pat Leonard and belt one out!
