Yeah, I think the point is, Madonna’s past is always her present. She hasn’t learned anything from her past behavior. One learns, grows, doesn’t make those mistakes or choices over and over again. But Madonna has a pattern of falling back into her “old ways”.

Can I ask, what has happened in her life that is soooo bad that people are going around saying ’she deserves it’, ‘its been so hard for her, she deserves to be happy’. Everyone deserves happiness, and quite frankly no one has had the opportunities and previlages that offer happiness as much as Madonna. She lost her mother at a young age, well you know what, many people have lost one or both parents in childhood, they move on. They don’t use that as an excuse, they suffer the sorrow (I’m sure everyday), but they manage.
It seems to me, the true things that bring happiness to a normal person: marriage and family…Madonna has thrown all away and destroyed. Sure, to some people career brings happiness, but not at the cost of sacrificing a good family unit. Most people would put spouse/family over career first. And what better profession than hers, that affords her the ability to set her schedule around her needs and those of her family. Majority of us can’t, we have to abide by the 9 to 5 schedule and our bosses. If she wanted to keep her home intact, she could have. But in the end, she put HER personal happiness before that of her family. Picking up the kids all the time and moving back and forth btwn NYC & London. I think most kids want to stay in one place, establish a set of friends, go to the same school…but no, she wanted her needs met first! She herself has stated in interviews that her kids have asked her not to work so much…yet those requests have fallen on deaf and selfish ears.
Mistakes: you don’t call multiple abortions ‘mistakes? You can let the first one slide but using abortion as a birth control method after a while seems inappropriate. (She stated in Q-magazine in 1994 she had had several abortions.)

And adultery isn’t a “mistake” that you commit over and over again.
