I’m not against Kabbalah, but quite frankly I don’t think its so powerful or revealing that it offers something that other religions/belief systems do not. But if it can make you a truly better person, then great. And I never called Kabbalah a relgion.
But the fact is Kabbalah is a mystical branch of Judaism, so its roots and core beliefs are based on Judaism. The main theories, practices, rituals and holidays are the same.
If Kaballah claims to answer all these questions about why good things happen to bad people and bad to good…whats the answer? what are the answers to the mysteries of the universe? You’re going to tell me what Madonna has said b/c we are the makers of our destiny and we are responsible for what happens to us b/c we cause it. So, a person is the cause of their own breast cancer? Cancer related to smoking I understand..but what about other illness? We are the cause of being laid off from work? We are the cause of everything that happens to us? So given this logic, it was Madonna who was the cause of her divorce then, and not Guy..right?
I have yet to hear some of these questions answered by M or the kabbalist.
