The show will go on for Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” tour.
The announcement was made at a June 26 memorial gathering for Jackson, held by the tour’s cast and crew.
According to a tour organizer, one performance will now be held in September and will be a replica of what was planned for “This Is It” in London.
High-profile singers are expected to perform in place of Jackson. Among them, possibly Madonna, who was expected to appear at one of Jackson’s shows in London. A firm decision has not been made as to where the tribute concert will take place, but it’s likely to be in Los Angeles.

I think Madge should perform, specially if they were planning to perform together. Maybe something slow, Earthsong? Justin Timberlake should do Blood on the Dancefloor.

You guys remember when Madonna committed to “go green” after her Live Earth performance? And then proceeded to use private jets for nearly every single flight since? She has so many “causes”, she doesn’t know what the hell she stands for anymore. Weak.

this is one of those rumors that could
easily happen given the fact that Madonna digs Jackson’s music
then again,
i am guessing it will be a hodgepodge of current
overrated no-talents like “beyonce / jay-z / kanye / pharrel
mariah / justin / little wayne…etc…etc…who will “perform”
i would be really surprised if they asked Madonna to perform,
given the fact that Madonna is a white female
it will be interesting to see if this all happens – -
and if it happens with Madonna in the mix of these latest no-talents

there are lots of folks who are have genuine
talent, but they all tend to be out of the r & b
and hip-hop range
i find it highly unlikely that the organizers of
this event would ask Tori Amos, or Green Day
to perform at this rumored event
