when shallow / redundant “love songs” like the ones
Mariah puts out gets major radio airplay (payola or not)
while Madonna’s songs, and other artists songs
seem to get little or no airplay on U.S. radio stations
hence the reason that the rest of the world, particularly
Europe has been (and will always be) a few steps ahead
of the game musically / culturally speaking
the U.S.A needs to wake up already
ah well…
U2 album is so great too and i’ve heard the sales and airplay are not that great….too bad for USA.
