Madonna hasn’t met Marilyn Minter yet, but the two are already planning a collaboration.
The artist — whose photograph of a gigantic pair of pink lips is a new addition to Madge’s “Sticky and Sweet” tour — confides the Material Girl’s plans are a mystery even to her.
“She wants to come by my studio, so I guess I will find out then,” Minter said at a recent M.A.C. event. “Maybe she wants me to photograph her, or work on a video.”
Whatever the project may be, Minter, who is famous for her erotically charged photographs, will definitely help Madonna in continuing to bring sexy back.

I’m with Paul on this…I’ve never heard of this photographer and who cares anyway? With the same amount of airbrushing and retouching that is done on all Madonna photos these days, they could make Rosie O’Donnell look hot.
hasn’t one of madonna’s main purposes in her career been to bring unknown artists into the mainstream thru collaborating with them? you haven’t heard of minter? well, you have now. and you’ll be hearing a lot more about her in the future. she’s brilliant.

I guess my point was that, in my opinion, Madonna’s days of being avante gard and innovative seem to be over and lost in a fog of airbrushing and photoshop. She has succumb to tired societal pressues to look young and has alienated a lot of her fans.
