For people who think the Erotica album was her best album, go to:
absolutemadonna.com
go to interviews with Shepp Pettibone. There is an article how the erotica album was created and also a raw demo of the song
Madonna at her best
bet it wont have dress u up whos that girl and true blue on which are the track i really wwant to see on it – i mean we all have most of the rest on the previous best ofs
34 Hits (c’est déjà mieux) + 2 inédits = 36 Chansons dans le Best Of, un vrai plaisir pour nos oreilles.
ce double CD retracera toute sa carrière reprenant aussi des hits passées inaperçus.
j’espère que les “This Used To Be My Playground”, “Dress You Up” et “Who’s That Girl” seront présent dans le CD.
I wonder if the DVD will sell bigger than the CD? I know most uf us have said it before but after hearing this offering is 36-strong, edits will undoubtedly be all over this release. I’m sure M is going to release more great stuff but her era at Warner is historical, an era never to be repeated so I guess those of us that care about anthologies/collections will be disappointed. I so wanted her to release a more personal collection (maybe a disc of her personal favourites?) but…oh well…never mind.
However I do agree with those here that say she’s changed and doesn’t give as much care to things like this (GHV2).
Well, 34 hits it’s perfect for me, she’s had so far 37 top ten hits so i guess she finally will release an appropriate hits collection. All of her fans deserve it. Hope the DVD also can have excelent choices and losts of previously unrelesed videos such as AMERICAN LIFE, for intance.
I will definitely buy this spectacular collection.
I can’t wait!!
Miss Madonna look like big bird hair with skyball eyes.
OK, don’t we have all of these songs already, people? Why buy this CD? For a few new mediocre songs? Oh, that’s right, because Madonna is your queen and you’d buy a packet of dirt if her (old) picture were on the cover. Just a thought….
no cause all my cds are scratched by now, the songs will be remastered, the new cover art and packaging, the anniversary, the new amazing hit Celebration and soon to be Madonna just rehearsed Revolver, and especially that awsome video collection!
plus, we’re free to spend our money as we choose
Stop being so bitter.
then i say don’t buy … if u think its not worth it for u ..
its great to have 34 hits all in just 2 cd
34 songs that CHANGED (and IMPROVED) the world! ha, MY world anyway. gorgeous! i haven’t been this excited for a new madonna release since the confessions on a dancefloor album. i hope the edits aren’t butchered like on the joke that is ghv2. i hope they handled the music on Celebration with precious care. (i won’t hold my breath, tho).
36 songs over 2 discs. Edits galore…ohhh…umm…good.
Tracks I noticed in the background font:
You Must Love Me
Ray of Light
Music
Everybody
Live To Tell
Don’t Tell Me
Die Another Day
Already confirmed:
Express Youeself
4 minutes
Everybody
Vogue
Celebration
Miles Away lyrics featured so this is a maybe
I really don’t understand what’s up with miles away. She prefers that song so much but my opinion is it sucks big time. Definitely not something that should take it’s place on the greatest hits collection ..
i really hope miles away isn’t on this compilation. i love the song, but i’d rather she make room for REAL hits.
well you’re an idiot who knows nothing about the rest of the world. Miles Away was used as a theme to “Change” a TV show in Japan. It was a no. 1 Song! The Queens Biggest Hit in Japan in 16 Years !!! Her Japanese Fans will want Miles Away… and its a great song
No moron, go to your gay club and listen miles away. Miles away – away from the CD!
JonathanX – stop projecting yer self-hatred and seek professional help. yer name calling is uncalled for.
Hollywood and Nobody Knows Me are confirmed. There are Celebration GH official trailers for both of those individual tracks.
I love Nobody Knows Me, anyone Ive ever shown that song or performance from Reinvention is in awe
Ahhh… 34 is a very lucky number!
But there’s 36!
Yes… 34 + 2 = 36
