wtf!!! Celebration is one of madonna’s best! If lady caca sang it it would have charted already!!!! Madonna is still being blacklisted on US radio! If it were up to the dj’s and the listening audience, She would have debuted in top 10 and possibly number 1. Madonna must have pissed off someone who works behind the scenes at clear channel. That is the only explanation! If Cher can go to number 1 at 50 surely Madonna can.
i think it’s number 29 on the dance charts not the hot 100, but here’s hoping it’s on the hot 100.

I actually like this new single. I have it on my i-pod and have been listening to it when I go out running. It’s lyrics are simple, but it’s a feel good song that makes you wannna dance.
I was at Sephora in Hollywood with a friend and they were playing this song. It was the first time I heard the song with loud speakers and it actually sounded better than on my i-pod. I need to get out more often.

The New Madonna song Celebration (esp the benny benassi remix) is a pounding dirty electro dance tune for this generation how could anyone ever imagine a 50 year old woman would still have her finger on the pulse. I go to alot of underground clubs and also DJ in them around London and everytime its played People go mad for it. It is THE dance tune of the summer if it dont go to number one fuck it who cares i dont, all i know is i love it and people who dont usally like madonna also cant believe its her and also love it!! Well donr girl you have done me and all your fans proud thank you for making Summer 2009 a classic one.

With kind REGARDS from someone who just goes out and buys the traditional round formats, what he like and not what others dictate.
I bough Madonna’s records, because of what they meant and how they sounded, and not because they did or did not get airplay.
If radio chooses to play rap and hip-hop crap or the DJ’s favorite songs, it doesn’t mean that the other songs which don’t get the airplay are less successful. It is funny how the haters have always misjudged Madonna and her work even before or on the arrival. Puff So much for their “objectivity”.
Here is to you haters: we Madonna fans don’t care about what you guys think or say. We never did. So just get lost.Go back to your rap and mariah crap.
We stand by the Queen of universe regardless of what the haters say, wish, buy or play. Good has a way of prevailing.
It is amazing how Madonna has gone full circle and is still going strong. Her latest records including celebration are doing just great (very much like her first records) and any which way you look at them they are now unforgettable club classics.
Keep it up Madonna and Madonna fans. Remember we never listen to what the haters have to say, and we never lose faith in her majesty’s vision. We celebrate anyway.

Generally speaking, my definition of success doesn’t depend on airplays. Certainly not on the airplays that is based on paid interventions, connections and favoritism politics.
The true Madonna sound always finds its way to the ears of its reception. Her first single didn’t even have a video, nor did it depend on airplay. The same can be said for Holliday. In those days they got played out at the clubs and at the parties. Yet everybody knows that those songs are among Madonna’s biggest hits.
Nowadays, even Billboard has split her airplay chart from its sales charts. When Madonna first came out, radio used to play cindy luper and pat benetar. Yet Madonna’s albums and singles ended up selling more and made more lasting impression on ears and minds.
Celebration is Classic Madonna(unapologetically fun, campy, sexy, ambiguous and philosophical)
By the way, although I love America I disagree with what you said about dance music. from what I saw when I lived there, America is the land of over processing (mass industrial productions, mass (copy and paste/ Photoshoped)media, rap and hip-hop oversaturation, soap operas, red carpet show and tell,,,,
But on the positive side, the clubs in America are among the best. Every time I went to one, they had a nice mix. Dance Music is not over processed. It is technologically and mentally advanced. All Madonna’s records have done well to great everywhere including in America. Her shows(concerts are where the money is at today) have broken attendance and sales records everywhere including in America.
What a great way to turn 50: having a rock butt, the world’s third biggest selling album of 2008, one quarter of it sold in USA, the biggest selling tour everywhere including USA.

I don’t buy into anything anyone has to say about Madonna. I just believe in Madonna’s ideology, her vision, her moods, her great voice and her great music. Celebration is a great dance single. And it is doing very well everywhere. Some airplay will be good of course, but regardless of that all Madonna records are gems and ultimately find a way of being heard.
As far as Warner goes, Just like all other record companies, they lack directions and strategies right now.
I don’t depend on radio to go out and buy something. Neither do I need anyone to tell me what is good or bad. But radio can give a nice introduction to new songs. I hope that the radio DJ’s in America are fair and diverse enough to give any new song by any artist a fair share of airplay. Otherwise sooner or later people are going to get tired of the routine staple Byounce, rap and hip-hop and will eventually turn off the radio.

I really feel there must be a conspiracy against Lady Ciccone. This single dropped in under the radar, for the first two days could not even be located on iTunes US and then went up to 19 and is now dropping. Either Warner Bros is sabbotaging her or itunes is intentionally fucking things up for her.
