Almost 3,000 people have signed a petition to protest Madonna’s concert in the Czech capital.
Protest organizer Jiri Styler says local residents are afraid of traffic chaos and noise.
The outdoor venue is located on a field between a major highway and a large residential area. Intense security measures, including road closures and transport disruptions are in place before Thursday’s show.
Local authorities said the show must be over by 10 p.m. and organizers will clean up the area, which is being used for a concert for the first time.
Styler said the protesters “are horrified” that more big concerts could follow in the area.
Some 40,000 are expected to attend the show, part of Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet tour.

is this were everything gets old about the tour and people have nothing left to do but protest some shit…..its time to wrap up this circus and go into hiding for one full year.
Madonna shows are about Expressions, Communication, Getting Together and having a Good Time.
However, just like every party, it has to be feasible, otherwise the party cannot go on. As long as a concert is organized properly, there is no reason to stop the concert.
The show must and will go on. That is what Madonna’s Philosophy is about The only thing that can stop her from performing, is when the costs of staging the show outweighs the expected profits, which I think is okay too. Madonna’s shows don’t come cheap, so they are not going to be for free.
As far as the protests go, the haters can protest as much as they want. But Madonna fans will go to see her Madgesty.
