There is some promo.. I saw the Album Commercial 3x in San Diego. I went To Target and Walmart This weekend..Madonna’s Celebration is selling there were like only 5 copies left at walmart. And at Target her shelves were almost empty saw atleast 9 copies left…Not to Base on Mariah Carey however I saw more of her new cd still on the Shlefs..and its look to be selling well.. I think Celebarion Will open between 150k to 200k and may HIT GOLD in in 3 weeks….. GOT MY COPY.. Love how the tracks are shuffled…

I’m not surprized it’s so low on itunes. I mean we already have all of these songs (with the exception of the new ones), so I’m betting a lot of people (and fans) are buying the actual CD and not downloading it. But I also don’t think anyone expected the album to be a #1, because it’s a greatest hits package. The only good news is that Mariah didn’t get her #1, after moving her album release twice and then deciding to release it on the same day as Madonna. Beeeeatch. Don’t worry about Madonna, I’m sure she’s not sweating it, this album will be up there with The Immaculate Collection, in terms of people buying it worldwide, to have it in their collections! Plus, Warner has not supported Madonna in some time, so I don’t think she wants to help them promote it very much. On to bigger (and hopefully better) things for M!!
Come on guys, support M. I know this is only a GH’s album and they don’t debut high, but let’s help her move up. Buy a copy for your friends.
Its a shame that in New York City there are no many cd store anymore, we used to have Virgin Megastore, HMV, Tower Records, Record Explosion but all of them went bankrupt, so we are limited to just a few places to get those cds…Internet really killed the cds purchasing.

Well that could happen as it happened with Outkast’s double album which was awarded 10 x platinium cause it sold 5 million(and since it was a double album, 10′000,000 so) but I know since it’s Madonna, they won’t do it, although fairly it should because is 2 discs in one.And as for other markets, they don’t recognize that, do they?if so, In the Uk it would have debuted with +140,000 and it didn’t.
Anyway, I think Mariah will move up to Number 1 the following days and if these are mid week sales then it may open with over 300,000, and hopefully Madonna with +100,000 (and more hopefully they will double the numbers since it’s a double disc plus add the DVD sales and so she can debut among top 5 :)…oh sweet dreams are made of this….who we are to disagree? :)
