Google Inc.’s YouTube reached an agreement with Warner Music Group Corp. that will bring artists including Madonna and Metallica back to the video-sharing site, Chris Maxcy, director of YouTube Partner Development, said today on a conference call.
“It’s a win for artists and fans around the world, and it represents many months of hard work for both companies,” Maxcy said.
Videos from Warner Music artists will return to YouTube by year-end, Maxcy said. Warner plans to hire outside agencies to sells ads and find partnerships, such as sponsorships of videos and artists.
“Members of the YouTube community will not only be able to access videos and other music-related content from Warner Music Group recording artists and songwriters, but will also gain access to an enhanced user experience on YouTube with a feature- rich, high-quality premium player and enhanced channels,” Warner Music said in an e-mailed statement.

I guess publicity is something mandatory for every single artist, and Madge is not the exception here. YOUTUBE is just a way to promote artists art, but honestly i do not care if Madge appears there or not, i have all her videos in a perfect condition that i do consider youtube unecessary to look for her wonderful music

Nothing new here. I wouldn’t get my hopes up for Maddy to get #1. It’s a greatest hits album, and with all the Lambs buying multiple copies of Whoria’s album at $5.99 a pop, there’s no way Madonna will have #1. I hated Mariah Carey before, but since she changed her album to the same date as Madonna’s just to use her sacrificial lambs to deny Madonna a #1 debut, I will never buy her (Mariahs) CRAP music again.

madonna is leaving warner…there is no reason to help her selling albums…if they wanted to so much they would promote more the hard candy album…but they didnt…and the surprising is that with almost no promotion the album is in the top 10 of the most succesful albums of 2008.
