OK, here’s my take on Madonna’s appearance last night. I’ve been very disappointed lately in her look, however, I thought her new (finally!) hairstyle last night was quite flattering. M has a very round face and needs height on top to balance it out, which she did last night. Very Catherine Denueve. Too bad the outfit didn’t have the same sex appeal as the hair. I also agree that she definitely looks older in these pictures but more beautiful and not so puffy and ‘injected’ looking. There’s one other thing I find really curious about Madonna but fascinating – her teeth aren’t perfect and florescent white like every other celebrity out there, which I find kind of refreshing.

Another time someone gives a eulogy at a funeral they talk about their personal relationship with the deceased person. What Madonna did is no different. She didn’t make the speech all about herself. Most of it was about Michael. Just the beginning was about her.
It wouldn’t make sense for her to just review his life facts which we all know. I like it that she gave some unique personal stories.
