I enjoy Madonna moments as they come. When I look at the album cover, the list of the songs on the album and a summery, dreamy, festive, fitting title track “Celebration” I just think of fabulous. This is a FABILOUS song and title track to a FABILOUS COLLECTION.

I’m with you Scott. The fact that STICKY & SWEET was such a runaway success (and yes the fact that she’s 51 and made history with the tour’s level of success) should’ve seen her grace the cover of this bible.

I remember when Madonna frequently used to be on every major magazine cover but now she’s relegated to single-page article in RS. In spite of her unaparalleled success, ageism is alive & well in the United States and Madonna is being ignored because she’s over 50. She dances circles around women half her age and sells 10 times the amount of tickets but she’s somehow not considered relevant? That’s complete rubbish.

Today we have heard that the magazine is going to align with the type of promotion Warner Bros is doing for the Celebration albums and singles.
We heard that there will be no new shoot for the Rolling Stone cover and they will use old classic shots of Madonna.
I am “shure” of what I’m talking about, you idiot. The principal goes beyond Rolling Stone and the facts speak for themselves. Several years ago, she would have been on the cover of the magazine after coming off such a tremendous tour. Your post doesn’t refute or add to my original posting at all so be “shure” of why you’re commenting. Until then, f off.
Why are you being so hostile! Yes US radio are ageist and sexist but Madonna is still features in print! Rolling Stones are putting her on their cover next month, they did this for her confessions album as well and gave Hard Candy a great review. She’s still a fave for them!
