Celebration should’ve been like Carly Simon’s CLOUDS IN MY COFFEE anthology or that THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC collection ABBA delivered. An annual that stands 2 discs tall (containing, like ABBA’s, 4 discs) with a detailed booklet including a set of lyrics. The cover is such a tease since the background to the image is wallpapered with them.
I’m glad it’s selling so well but as a summary of an absolutely extraordinary career it could’ve been, make that SHOULD’VE been, so much more. Why couldn’t she put whatever idiotic issues she has with WB aside and remember who’s made her so damn wealthy?? I love CELEBRATION but it’s appallingly inadequate.

Rest assured wb will come out a lot of back catalogue like what beatle,mj and elvis by emphasizing on what anniversary, what remastered and what previously unreleased tracks and all that unreleased stuffed like reinvention tour, blond ambition ,or even madonna christmas song santa baby.etc,who knows.no one force u to buy if u don’t to but please abandon her like all the most of the fake and hypocrite americans who abando mj.
I’m aware no-one forced me to buy Celebration. You’ve completely missed my point…and please don’t speak of abandoning her as if she’s some poor waif. No matter what she does, I’m always interested but like every fan, I was hoping for a lot more from this release. Simple as that.
By the way, I’m actually Australian and despite the fact she hasn’t seen fit to tour here in 15 years, I’m still a 100% supporter.
