Sadly it was the real Madonna. This sketch would have been better served if M were being played by an actor. Yup…OSeary sure knows how to book some winner venues for M.

Watch the last interview with Letterman – she is so witty and thinks on her feet. That’s because she is intelligent. Unlike all the others.
To stay on top, an artist needs to be a businessperson rather than just a performer. And one has to have brains and discipline.
I think someone has an overrated perception of who Gaga is or can become to be. Not even Britney could over shadow Madonna in Music History. There will always be new acts that have an initial huge success, but then they will go astray or get into the average zone. BETTER QUALITY
Madonna looks Gaga’s age. Madonna was great even though the sketch was horribly written. I think playing 2nd fiddle to Gaga though was a stupid choice on the part of management. Sure, it exposes her to a young crowd, but it’s not like she’s promoting her music on the show. Instead of going on Oprah, Ellen, GMA, Today Show, Regis & Kelly to actually promote her actual album they are doing this on a Saturday night after the 1st week’s sales deadline passes and the radio show on Monday (why even bother then since the the totals will come in by then?).
Guy’s kind of useless. He can’t even bother watching out for the quality of Madonna’s releases. All of her previous managers have been infinitely better than Guy. If he (and Warner) can get away with doing very little and making the most money off of fans, he will, it doesn’t matter if he taints Madonna’s reputation or not.
I dont think Madonna is in to talk shows Cal, she doesnt feel siting on someones couch and talking about Material Girl and Like a Virgin for the 1000th time.
