Good going Rolling Stone.
In 1985, Rolling Stone was one of the few publishers who recognized Madonna as the queen of universe in making. They did not say that explicitly, but by getting Madonna’s message and by doing her talents, ambitions and art justice.
She has graced that magazine many times and this picture and the layout are just Amazing.
Thank You Rolling Stone.
elvis presley, the beatles, madonna, michael jackson and the rolling stones: the golden top5 in music!
Celebration in US and Canada:
US – 20 from 7
Canada – 5 from 1
madonna will do the next D&G campaign but she will do it 4 male collection.wow.something new and hot im sure.madonna 4 male campaign.cant wait to see the results
I can hardly wait to hear what Madonna while have to say when she’s seventy.
Madonna is in the depths of a midlife crisis.
I think that’s just you looking in the mirror.
Hi Cal, I love your comments. Keep them coming please. They are always right on target.
As far as I am concerned regardless of what those ageism people say, Madonna knows no crisis.
I mean Madonna refused to be put down by the common public shaming practice in 1985, went through a recent divorce, yet she got on and did her thing, became 50 and fabulous, had a number one money making tour in the history and international number 1 album.
When I look at what Madonna has done so far, I can’t do anything but celebrate. I hope you too have many positive things to celebrate too.
I so want that Rolling Stone Magazine, I can’t wait for it, when will it be in sale?!?!
i hope the full interview is published
either here, or somewhere else online
the only thing about an interview about “looking back”,
is that it tends to be a rehash of all Madonna’s previous
interviews
i am still a bit miffed that she feels that timberlake
is a “genuis” or whatever other noun she uses to
describe him, in this interview
she labels her self as “retarded” at certain points, i think
her holding timberlake to such high acclaim may be one
of those moments were she is “retarded”
i am glad she is into Lady GaGa, and can see herself
somewhat in her, with Lady G being so new to the
mass media..etc…
i only hope, that for her next full length new album
from Live Nation, is that she keeps the mainstream
people she worked on Hard Candy with..FAR, FAR
AWAY from her next album
Madonna has been in a slight funk musically speaking
for the past 2 years, she’s made some decent catchy
tracks, but nothing fresh or groundbreaking like her
previous albums ie; Erotica / Bedtime Stories / Music
Ray Of Light / American Life / Confessions On A Dancefloor
while i do think Celebration and Revolver are much
catchier and solid than most of the tracks off of Hard Candy…
that is not saying much
after all – - – this IS Madonna i am talking about
“MADONNA on Crack – the Rolling Stone interview”…would have been a better cover story.
is she tryin to portray that cover as a new one??…
When is this issue released? I checked the website and U2 are on the cover of the next one…
29oct2009
“I see myself in Lady Gaga..” She said the same things when Britney and Christina Aguilera were the hot “IT” girls. Frankly, I have never seen any of these girls at the same intelligent creative level as Madonna has always been. She has always had a underlying brilliance to her work. These girls never have. And I wish Madonna would stop saying that these girls in someway are like her. They aren’t and never will be like Madonna! There is only one Madonna.
shes suffering fools is what she’s doing
“and now she’s found…she’s changed her mind”….
Absolutely. She really puts herself down and praises others. The press does enough of that on their own, she needs not help them.
I agree with you Cal. She is Madonna the Queen of Universe.
Does she lies on her deathbed that such antiquities are published?
The graphic designer and project manager need to be fired. People in Madonna’s camp need to be fired too for this MESS.
What a terrible photo layout…..they picked the most boring from her career…
no! the picture is very good! i think u are so bored!
You obviously can’t read…the cover photo is great and appropriate for “looking back” but the pictures in the article are the most boring out of the thousands available.
The cover picture is one of her best shots ever.
Rolling Stone needs gay layout designers :(
AMEN! The layout sucks ass. It doesn’t even give proper iconic imagery to her fabulous career
I so agree..the layout pictures are so boring.
Not impressive at all. Lame layout. I hope the interview is good. Too bad they couldn’t use a new photo of her, but I’m sure they couldn’t afford all the photoshop.
Thanks people a lot for the pics! I wonder, will the article be published on internet?
