Rumours have been swirling all day that Madonna is set to be the next face of Dolce and Gabbana’s menswear line, but ELLE can put an end to speculation and tell you that it’s sadly not true.

While the Queen of pop’s boyfriend, model Jesus Luz, is this season’s face of the Italian brand, and the design duo has created costumes for the star on several occasions, it seems that Madonna is content with her roll as muse rather than model. For now at least…

   it’s a bit odd Madonna has not been the face of that brand
   yet, given the fact she is both a friend and a fan of D & G

   i do wonder though,
   if they did have her as the face of that brand, what would he
   images look like, and what kind of clothes would she be wearing

   following Scarlet Johanson would be a tough feet to follow,
   but…i think Madonna and whatever photographer would be up to it

   guess that is not gonna happen…ah well…
