       i like gaga’s voice very much and her style, but not in this pictures.. lady g performances are different, but great!

   Re: Madonna’s boots: Though I haven’t exhaustively looked at performance images from the last few years, I think Madonna wears either boots or pants when she performs because she needs the knee support. Witness that during the Keith Haring part of S&S she wore knee pads. There’s nothing wrong with that–she’s a human athlete and sometimes we need that.

     I remember Madonna wearing ice or heat packs on her knees in “I’m Going to Tell You A Secret” but I don’t think boots & pants necessarily provide support. I think she wears boots because they make her look taller and very hot. I LOVE the boots she wore in the skit with Gaga. I’d wear them but I don’t think they come in a men’s size 11 :-(

       the look damn cool, one version of them has
       a stainless steel platform, the other has a stacked
       black heel

       the stainless steel ones look kick ass!

       i’m surprised Madonna or her stylist have used
       them, given the fact Madonna has been into wearing
       slick thigh-high / high heel boots lately…

       ah well….

     gaga needs the pretentious get ups to make her “interesting” where as m can wear virtually any look, even the simplest of looks, and still manage to be enchanting.
