“Sticky & Sweet Tour” live before it wrapped in September. But there are still millions more who never saw the show, which until now, hasn’t been broadcast for fans in US. watching this reminded me of that night…..the atmosphere the energy the stadium shaking people crying for her singing every word of her songs and even now i have the chills…vogue devil and prayer were moments that u cannot describe….there were like 85 000 people but i feel like we were only one…like shardy says…ah well…

I watched the footage of MJ’s this is it. That is my definition of over the top, extraterrestrial, line break dancing, way too much glitter and the same old music. I also saw people standing in line for that. I couldn’t understand it at all. I think some people just like to be ‘in’ on anything that is considered to be ‘in’ at the time.
I love Madonna because she doesn’t mind being an outsider. Even from the sideline, she outshines everybody else.
MJ was too concerned about how he was perceived by other people. But Madonna gave up on that years ago, developed a stamina of steels when she declared “I am Not ashamed”.
Some people think Madonna is only concerned about showing off. I dispute that. Madonna is an artist who wants to bring the good times back to the planet with her stage shows and remind people of self empowerment and their ability to make a difference. Madonna’s shows always have something to say because Madonna has something to say. MJ and others have done some charity songs “heal the world” but they were always overtaken by the over the topness, extravaganza and glitter.
It is nice to see the girl who arrived in NY with next to nothing except her talents and drive, managed to outlive and out do them all. Madonna is a stage survivor/ performer. She lives to tell.
Does anybody care what Whitney or Mariah have to say? NO.
Do people care what Madonna says and what Madonna does. Yes indeed. The haters care even more about what Madonna does. For proof of that, read their negative reactions on everything Madonna does.
lets watch and enjoy, the girl who got to generate more than 400 million dollars, from a concert that lasted about a year(80 shows), she got to break all the records at the age of 51, has 4 beautiful children, can afford to relase a greatest hits album every decade, has just had yet another US top 10 album, a top 10 single sales, a dance number 1, A UK number 1, A euro number 1, and a world number 1.
I think there is every reason to celebrate her MaDjesty Madonna the Goddess of Universe.

I love me some Sticky & Sweet! Theirs nothing like the Vogue performance, she looks great and sounds even better, shes the only talent out there whos voice is getting better as she ages, and I love to watch anything with Madonnas stamp of approval.

I was there in Buenos Aires at this show, it was INCREDIBLE!!! People went mad, so much energy was there! Her performance was just perfect, I was really impressed. I became her fan since then…

I saw this concert few weeks ago on Dutch television. It was so cool. The choreography was so tight, Madonna looked and sounded fantastic and the audiences were so in to the groove too. A total all around performance as one may expect from queen of universe.

When was the last time that any other artist gave such a electric performance?? Hell Mariah could not even do one song live At MJ memorial even close to her own recordings. Moreover, Mariah didn’t even have to dance or jump rope, yet she still couldn’t sing I will be there. Mariah should consider going back to the choir line, refreshing her backup/ scream training.
Madonna is the ultimate live act even when she uses some prerecorded segments here and there. The tickets to her shows are not cheap, but they are worth every penny.

Actually she doesn’t sing the whole song live. There are parts of the song that were obviously pre-recorded. Just like Vogue during the Re-Invention tour. Still a very good performance. This is one of my all time favorites from Madonna.

I think they should be recorded the tour in an arena, besides, the camera is always too far from madonna’s face I don’t know, i just don’t like the camera work in this dvd.

I guess they chose the Argentina shows because they comprised a couple of elements that would be great for the DVD.
River Plate is pretty large (65000+), I was there and it was absolutely full– Such a huge crowd looks more impressive onscreen and it shows just how big Madonna’s following can get. It also gives a sense of her as a worldwide superstar, not one that is big only in the more stablished markets.
Besides, we had been waiting for her for many years (since the Girlie Show Tour and then when she filmed Evita which everyone knows was a very special project for her and blah blah), and the fans were *extremely* responsive, most of us having missed Drowned World, Reinvention and Confessions. Maybe Madonna wanted to show her emotional connection to her fanbase in a way that hadn’t been so explicit before (she doesn’t usually change her routine to accommodate to the country she visits like she did when she switched to the verses of Don’t Cry for Me and displayed our flag on the screens).
I hope that made some sense, I haven’t written in English in a while :D
