Give me a fucking break. This is the first film that Mariah has had positive reviews for and it sounds like she's hardly in it. The only reason she's getting attention is she happens to be in the most pivotal scene in the movie AND she has a mustache. Oh and her management is acting like she has a supporting role, which she doesn't... If you recall, Madonna won a Golden Globe for Evita and she also got rave reviews for Deparately Seeking Susan, A League of Their own and even Shadows and Fog, Dick Tracy and Dangerous Game. She's overshadowed in the movie and her non-speaking presence is better than when she utters a single word, which doesn't say much about her acting. She's okay in the role, but her record company and her PR team have been telling everyone she is an Oscar contender since before the movie was even shown.
