Rumor has it that it will NOT be released until Summer 2010 and even IF then. Warner and Live Nation are in legal fights over the rights to the tour and that is why YOU CANT GET A RELEASE DATE from anyone! It is a legal matter and is why it keeps getting pushed back. Its all about money. Christmas was best time to release this, after that it will not sell nearly as good. Seen her in Houston over a year ago and ready for something new. Screw this waiting for a dvd that will obviously never come.

In 1983 I heard my idol, MADONNA, for the first time on the radio singing, “HOLIDAY”. I have been a fan since. I am now 43 years old. The fact is, when someone does something for over 25 years they get better and better at what they do. Someone who cannot appreicate S&S has not been a fan long enough and/is to young to see the big picture of it all, MADONNA. I look forward to all of Madonna and what she has in store for us in the next 10 years. It’s only gonna get better and better. YEA!

I wasn’t lucky enough to see Sticky & Sweet and I cannot wait for this DVD…but this announcement has to do with a release in Japan. Hopefully it will come out everywhere else, too. All of Madonna’s shows are amazing and I have no doubt that this show will be just as original and inspiring.

I do! I think a lot of people still like buying M’s official merchandise with her stamp of approval on it. I know it’s (sadly) the way of the world but I strongly oppose the bit-torrent crap (if that’s what you’re implying). I know someone who’s on $130,000 a year and still steals everything. It’s thanks to all this illegal downloading crap (that’s destroying the music industry as we know it) that M doesn’t pay much mind to videos anymore and doesn’t bother releasing so many singles either.

Anyway I did download HC but I really dislike that ablum so it just sits on my computer I don’t listen to it since theres like 2 songs I like.

i think the reason why she waited so long to release this DVD is that the tour was still going on .. you can’t sell a DVD when u can also buy tickets for the REAL concert. ’cause ppl would think “ooh, let’s buy the dvd, it’s cheaper”

I don’t get how people think Sticky & Sweet sucked. It wasn’t as artistically stellar as her other tours, like Blond Ambition or Girlie Show.
But come on, this tour had so much creativity as well. Devil Wouldn’t Recognize You? Like a Prayer? Vogue? I mean, those performances were breathtaking. Her tv screens split up little by little. That was something new. Nobody else did it.
Most of all, Madonna was smiling in almost every photograph taken of her while on THIS tour. In Sticky & Sweet, Madonna looked genuinely happy, and I’m sure she really was. She just had so much fun on this tour. SO MUCH. I think that’s important about concert tours, the artist has to have a lot of fun. She was a lot warmer in S&S than in Confessions if you compare them. And God, SO MUCH MORE ENERGY. SO MUCH MORE.
So how could it have sucked? *I’m not bashing those who hated S&S, I just think saying that it “sucked” is way too harsh.*

ADAM K. you really did hear wrong, a good friend of mine got the concert of sticky and sweet that was playing on tv a few months ago, polished and amazing, i was told this would be the concert dvd release…it is well worth the wait….have faith !!! :)
