Susan Boyle has a great voice, no doubt about that. She was my first choice in American Idol and sadly she did not make it.
To me I like to listen Susan Boyle than Madonna.
Madonna expressed of being unloved in her relationship, and
Susan expressed of being unloved by the world. She feels like
an outcast, because she was poor, unemployed and unattractive.
Susan was bullied throughout her life, now she becomes an
international star, and everyone hears her name and her voice.
Only The Almighty coud make this happen.
From Susan Boyle’s fan (in S.E Asia)
Love both versions. Yes. Both. Madonna owned the song. Now Boyle does.
Susan Boyle has a superb voice. Me and my sister like her performace a lot and we voted for her.
,
I agree with Peter Marco’s take on Madonna’s voice and this song. Madonna’s voice is full of emotive. Madonna’s voice vision (live to tell) is just fantastic. She lives and owns the song when she sings it.
I don’t think Mariah can sing. She can only scream. She is a backup choirgirl. Susan is far better than Mariah and Whitney.
The problem with a lot of these “singers” like Susan Boyle and I have to say Mariah Carey the delivery is all about the singing and the theatrics. M’s style is more personal, more real more emotive. Could be that M writes the majority of her own lyrics. Personally M delivers a killer in this song cause its obviously meaning something. Boyle has zero emotion.
GORGEOUS voice!
Susan is herself and that is what I like about her. Unlike Britney, Byounce and Whitney she does not have a big ego and she does not want to steal anyone´s crown.
This is one of the most touching songs ever made. Madonna’s voice is exquisite, passionate and heartfelt. Susan has a different kind of voice but never the less very beautiful. I love Madonna’s version and yes I am proud and biased Madonna fan. But let be honest Susan has a good voice too. But biased aside. I think those ladies share far more than this song.
Madonna may not let on, but she has a broken heart and she has had that since her childhood. Her broken hart, caused her to dream big. In her own way, Susan has experienced that too. Her choice to cover this song is a proof of that. You´ll See was a solid but subtle hit. It is of the most beautiful song though. If you have been let down or have heard that you can´t live without them, or when someone treats you like dirt, just listen to this song and you´ll find a way to get back up and move on.
It is such an inspiring song. Let us wish people like Madonna and Susan and wish them well in everything they do. They are different but I find their stories both inspiring.
gorgeous voice, compared to madonna´s voice
Susan Boyle is a vile talentless karaoke singer, who is just the latest in a long line of production line crap from Simon “Butch” Cowell’s factory. Madonna’s version is by far the best, but if you want to hear a cover version, Shirley Bassey’s is far superior to that awful hairy-faced witch Boyle’s.On a different subject; why the hell can’t Mariah buyb open-toed sandals which fit her instead of two sizes too small? I HATE toes hanging over the edge of sandals. It’s APPALLING. Even worse than thongs worn above the waist line. UUrrgghh.
great voice
wwoooww quede impresionado!!!esta muy buena la version!!
mucha suerte susan;)
te deseo lo mejor!
saludos desde argentina!
I like it it, it sounds pleasent! I like the dramatic orchestration. Susan said she loves Madonna so this ofcourse is a compliment to her.
She’s so cute, however, one thing that happens with “Lyirical” voices is that they lack the visceral strength of the “common” voices. Madonna’s version is more passionate and colorful. Lyrical voices can tend to make it all flat though in a clean and nice way. Reminds me to the lyrical version of Abba’s The winner takes it all versus the original version by Agnetha…passion is the basic difference here.
But i wish the best to Susan, she’s cute :)
I will buy Susan’s CD when it comes out. I love people who dare to dream, stand up despite superficial prejudices and let their voices hear. Madonna is one of those people. In her own way, Susan is that way too. My hats off to her. I am already a fan of hers. Her music style is different than Madonna and her voice is also different, never the less she is original, she is not a wannabee queen. Susan is herself and remains herself. I think Susan’s cover of this song is a sort of direct or indirect (intended or unintended) tribute/ compliment to Madonna.
I can’t compare apples and oranges and certainly not Madonna and Susan, as their vocals are so different. However, I can say that Susan sings far more beautiful than other high note-singing singers do, far better than Mariah, and Whitney for sure.
Great going Susan. You also look good, regardless of your dress size. You look far better than Mariah does in her tacky and glittery min dresses.
I love people who dare to dream, stand up despite superficial prejudices and let their voices HEARD.When I hear her sing and look at those pictures. I am convinced that Britain has talents.
She’s Precious !!
Susan seems so sweet and I think her success is so great! Her version is different and unique to her pretty voice. I hope her CD sells in the millions.
This song remains Madonna’s, however Susan does a good job Covering it.
Good on you Susan. You have a fine voice and keep doing what you do.
Obviously, this Madonna song has touched you as it has us fans. Music is a way to connect, express and communicate.
not my favorite ..prefer madonna !!
I personally prefer madonnas version as its got more emotion in her voice her vocals touch you when listening to the lyrics. Not a bad version tho just Madonna sounds stronger for the style of the song but guess biased anyway
She took out the emotion and flavor out of the original version of the song.
I love this cover and Madonna will get a lot of money for this because she co-write this song. think about it. a lot of people will buy this album from susan boyle and Madonna will get paid $$$
hahaha suck this haters
Yeah because Madonna really needs the money.
i think the arrangement of the music is nice,
however, i still feel that Madonna owns this song vocally,
Susan’s voice seemed at bit forced, but given the fact this
is only a teaser, i can’t say that i am into it vocals-wise
Big negative on that one.
My God this woman is so over rated!
Madonna? I agree!
Which is why you keep dragging your negative ass to this site day after day – looking for the latest news and then being a bitchy queen.
No you dumb fuck- that mutton dressed as lamb boyle!
Great voice, true… but she’s destroying the song!
I must agree!
nothing can destroy you’ll see
I don’t think that she destroys the song. She has a good voice, but lacks the emotion of the original song.
I love Madonna’s original version.
im personally not a fan but, i can say she has a beautiful voice, and i’m sure her fans will enjoy this….
AMAZING voice
