LOVE HER
This was Madonna at her most glamorous ever!!! 1990 & 1991 were her most fabulous years, packed with gorgeous moments: Vogue, I’m Breathless, Dick Tracy, Blond Ambition, Vogue performance on Mtv, Justify My Love, Inmaculate Collection, Jean Paul Gaultier shows, Herb Ritts award-winning photoshoot, Truth or Dare, attending Cannes Festival… She’s still the best, but that was the best of her best.
i’ve never seen this interview before,
so it is cool to see all the parts that i missed
as an admirer of Madonna’s music,
i am kinda glad this particular era of her career is gone
i wasn’t really all that excited when i heard the Like A Prayer
album, or the Dick Tracey album, there were some good songs
on both, but for me, Justify my Love was the starting point
where Madonna began to take real risks musically and creatively
i did like the Truth Or Dare film,
but i liked I’m Going To Tell You A Secret so much more
i think she looks pretty, (not really feeling that hairstyle)
but i think she looked healthy and happy here
thanx for posting this, keep these vintage clips coming
=0)
I love you, Madonna
great era and the erotica times were still to come
I remember this phase of interviews so well.
She looked so different, once again, to everything we had seen of her before.
The steely blonde was gone and a brand new brunette, 30s starlet, emerged.
And once again she was so unique.
She had a different air about her and left me wondering – “Who exactly is she…she is amazing”, as if I had never wondered that before.
And with each incarnation she leaves me wondering the same thing..like it is the very first time.
Thank you Madonna for each of those times.
This is truly Madonna’s worst ever look. She does not suit dark hair at all. She looks like Shelley Duvall as Olive Oyl. Madonna is an unnatural natural blonde and she should stay that way. It’s so embarrassing to read these sycophantic comments stating she looks gorgeous etc when she so clearly doesn’t.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I’m not a sycophant but I think she does look gorgeous in this interview…dark hair, beautiful green/blue eyes, perfect skin. Let others have their opinions, Yma, as you have yours.
yma maybe you don’t like the haircut. madonna does look amazing in dark hair……just have a look to the power of goodbye video.
You’re a putrid old Queen.
well this interview was with Sir Terry Wogan at the time yes i do remember it from then as it was shown in the uk on the bbc
link..?
Gorgeous indeed.
Yeh where’s the download link???

I couldn’t agree more
