I’d like to do a different kind of music than on HC, but I”m not sure if going back to old producers is the answer. Maybe she grew apart from them and they don’t get along anymore. To make great music you have to have chemistry and sometimes you don’t have that with old producers. Just like you can’t expect people to go back to their ex-boyfriends and be happy and recapture what they had.
Look at all the old bands that get back together and do a new album. It’s rarely as good as their old albums.

I can see the relation between this post and some of the comments here. If you run a business you don’t expect everything in your business to sell equally. If you are an artist you follow your own instinctive pads. If you are a human you change. All the above apply to Madonna too. People can speculate all they want but even Madonna cannot top herself. I mean she has achieved a point where any artist would do just about everything to achieve. An artistic file like Madonna’s can never be duplicated.
As far as her future works are concerned: In Queen of Universe I trust. I have never been let down by her.
And believe it or not I do listen to other music acts too. Hell I have Dire Straits, The Eagles, Michael and the Mechanics, to some newer bands in all music categories. Hell I even have few Mariah Albums. I tried to give Mariah’s away; however nobody wanted them. But Madonna’s albums are still selling long after they have gone off the charts.

Yes, it might be for some photo shoot or something, but not for a tour. Usually when she casts for dancers, there’s a casting call announcement in trade publications and it’s done in a studio not a nightclub.
In response to some that say Madonna is over just look at other artists over time. Elton John had his heyday in te seventies. His albums dont sell like they did then or his music is on the radio. But he sells out alot at concerts. I have seen him 4 times. The same for Billy Joel, Rod Stewart. Maybe this is another part of Madonna’s career. To her die hard fans she will always make great music that we love. And create amazing concerts. Not all music artists will be number one or the best. Like everything else there are new generations.
And also consider that the music industry is dying!!!!! I mean: does it really matter music sales anymore? I really think that everything it´s changing now, the medium between artists and listeners (record companies) is disappearing and rankings like Billboard doesn´t matter anymore (if they ever did….).
