Did she and Guy Ritchie not treat her gay brother with not only lack of respect, but a lack of love. As a South African, whose own Nelson Mandela fought for the right for all of us to be treated with dignity, I know he lived his truth on and off the political stage. I hope Madonna does too. I have seen her treat others with a total lack of dignity and respect. Has she changed or is she using politics to capture an audience? Time will tell.

  Don’t make me laugh! Her brother was (and maybe still is) a drug user and she was tired of supporting his lifestyle. Their relationship fell apart for many reasons, but Madonna was never homophobe. This is the most ridiculous thing I ever read. Madonna has a 30+ year career commitment to the gay community.

    I was not commenting about her attitude towards gay people, I was commenting on her treating people in general with dignity and respect. Freedom of speech goes both ways, I am allowed, and should ask, especially when she is capturing a worldwide audience. You as her fan should appreciate and encourage debate and discussion.
