   There is something I don’t trust about him. And for him to do this book screamed desperate to me. Why would someonw do that? The only reason anyone knows his name is cause of MADONNA!

   I can’t stand in the book how he’s so passive aggressive. In the same line he’ll state how Madonna is a “global icon” and the “Most Successful Female Artist in History” (Of course she is!) then he’ll say he didn’t think she was too talented. What a loser he is. Then why did you work for her? NO ONE MADE YOU ASSHOLE CHRISTOPHER CICCONE!!! Can’t stand when people play the victim role.

   He was only the director for the Girlie Show, not Blond Ambition. For BA he was one of the set designers, not the overall Show Director. Just an FYI.

   That last picture is telling. She’s giving him a full hug with both her arms around him and fingers wrapped around each other, but he has one arm gently around her while the other arm is in between them blocking her.

   I used to hope there would be a reconciliation between them, but the more I hear about him and after reading his book (borrowed), I don’t think he is someone who should ever be let back in and trusted.

   I didn’t appreciate what Christopher did to his sister, but let’s not forget – people – that he was the one behind “The Blond Ambition” and “The Girlie Show” worltours. He deserves a good and strong clap for that, but it’s a shame that he allowed “Hollywood lifestyle” (Alcohol, drugs and whatelse…) up to his head, shame on you, Christopher, you used to be (really) good !! Hope your sister forgive you someday (if she hasn’t done so yet)…

     Very well stated. Christopher is a very creative and talented person and contributed much to Madonna’s tours. Sibling relationships can be very complicated.

       Correction: he directed ONE show only, the Girlie Show. You are right in the fact that sibling relationships can be complicated…especially when one (Chris) became bitter when his sister wouldn’t keep him on her patroll to fuel his drug and alchohol addiction which then made him even more bitter and envious of her.

    They both look gorgeous – especially Madonna. I’m sure it’s a complicated relationship they had (have?). How difficult must it have been for him to work for his egomaniacal sister who happens to be the world’s most famous woman? But I’m sure she feels completely betrayed by his book and subsequent comments he made on various talk shows. Those really are great pictures, though. Thanks for posting them.

      You think he too isn’t an egomaniac? They are both the same, except that Madonna has the decency of not outing and talking shit about “exes”- whether they are friends, family, or former boyfriends.

        Are you kidding me? Madonna would f–k anyone over if it were in her own best interest and everyone is aware of that. She loves being thought of as shrewd and ruthless. I don’t agree with what Christopher did (betraying his own sister who did so much for him) but what I’m saying is that their relationship is probably quite complicated and very unique, given her success and huuuuuuge ego.

        She works with people and moves on. I don’t know why anyone would expect permanent partnerships or life long financial support from her or anyone. To remain static is to die when it comes to artists. Madonna and Christopher are the same in many ways, for better or for worse. I think to some extent, Christopher is worse. He betrayed his own blood after she gave him so many opportunities. He lived the life of an uber celebrity and was able to do things he had no training or even talent to do simply because Madonna hooked him up repeatedly. He would probably be some fat, mediocre dance teacher in Michigan had he not had Madonna to help him out. Publicly betraying his sister as revenge and to get money after she cut him off for his drug issues was an unforgivable thing to do. She even paid for his rehab a couple times and he is still in denial about being an addict. I’ve known people that met him and he is what I already knew, an egomaniac and asshole, don’t fool yourself.

        Ah Scott not one of Madonna’s former boyfriends has ever said a bad word about her. And she has never said a bad word about any of them- even that weirdo Dennis Rodman. He betrayed her by writing about their sex life and all she said in public (on Oprah) is that if he wants forgiveness ” he better crawl from here to China”. I think Madonna’s image has not done the woman herself justice. She is way too professional to bad mouth an ex unlike some of these other younger “stars”
