   I love her here. (minus the pit hair lol) but its obviously a statment. Thats what Madge has always been about. Making a statement. Doenst hurt that her music rocks and she totally set the way for music of today. Gaga and Britney etc. All artists push the envelope-but Madge was the first one to do so. I wish she had this figure now tho. shes too muscular now.

   this era was the beginning era i knew her
   i was stearring at her album cover at a music store
   i didnt know her music but her energy made me buy the album
   i remember that moment forever
   the 1st time i got attracted by her

   i recall these pics, they were used for a lengthy interview
   she did for People magazine back in 1985 during the Virgin Tour

   she was so naive back then compared to how armored she is today

   She used to have such a gorgeous face!
   Those eyes were amazing.
   Now they can barely open b/c of the pushed up cheeks from the fillers and are always hidden behind large shades! :(

    gaga is not like madonna that much, i see her closer to MJ… they’re different kinds of people, that’s why gaga will not be madonna. though, if gaga gains momentum with the whole queer thing, she will get a chance to have the cultural impact madonna has had. even so, i don’t think gaga is interested in anything but music and money that comes from businesses closely related to her music, different from madonna, who is much more a businesswoman than merely a musician, embracing more ways for revenues non related with music.

    These pictures are a perfect example of Madonna’s amazing star quality….no airbrushing, minimal makeup, simple clothes but that incredible personality jumps out at you. I like Lady Gaga but her stupid costumes and circus makeup are already so tiresome. Madonna is the original and the real thing.

    When I saw those pictures, I thought wow such a goddess.

    Since then no newer artist has been able to meet that level of goddessness.

      By the time these pictures came out, she already was considered the queen of universe. I couldn’t even describe it in one sentence. But what made the look so mouth watering was the goddess attitude that went with it. She wanted to be and got to be the centre of universal attention. She knew she was. Hell,as a teenager back then, I could not put anything above or beyond her. She got practically all of us guys hot and every girl and woman who wasn’t jealous of her, wanting to look like her.
