   See this is post cosmetic procedures, and Madonna looks fantastic. I think alot of the complaints about how Madonna looks is some sort of strange
   fan OCD, were they are literally obsessed with her face or something, doing this refreshing is the best thing Madonna could of done at this age, she is photographed and published even more now, the magazines and media dont want to print or show people that look tired and worn out, So Madonna looks amazing now, and as people forget how she used to look and get to her now, when you see older photos you almost feel like she looks better now, Madonna is just alot more refined and sculpted now, it just matches the rest of her more.

   Sad that madonna is supporting a homophobic country:

   CNN) — Malawian police have arrested a man for allegedly putting up posters supporting homosexuality, which is illegal in the southern African nation.

   Peter Sawali was charged this week with conduct likely to cause breach of peace, said police spokesman Davie Chingwalu.

   Sawali, 21, was putting up posters that read, “Gay rights are human rights,” on a busy road in the city of Blantyre, the spokesman said.

   The man had stacks of glossy posters with the same message in his possession, according to the spokesman. An investigation is under way to seek more suspects, because Sawali said he was not acting alone.

   “Homosexuality is illegal in Malawi and is punishable by prison time and hard labor,” Chingwalu said. “Basically, he was promoting a criminal act. This is what this is all about.”

     I honestly don’t think Madonna is too concerned with gay rights these days – she was virtually silent during the California Proposition 8 nightmare. Many other celebrities were vocal in their opposition to Prop 8 but I never read or heard a word from Madonna. My disappointment has nothing to do with the fact that the majority of her fans are gay men….it is a HUMAN RIGHTS issue and she had nothing to do with it. As I’ve said before – she’s an amazing artist/entertainer but a dreadful person.

       Roadwork, you are horribly off-track. No one said Madonna was homophobic and, yes, I would expect her to support human rights of any kind because she poses as such a humanitarian these days. Gay rights = human rights and it looks like you are willing to sell yourself short as a third-class citizen in your blind worship of Madonna. Sad for you. And the gay people you listed who are Madonna’s friends are all famous and high-profile so they can DO something for her. You seem like a nice person but I wish you would open your mind beyond Madonna’s immediate appeal and see that she has not supported gay rights as of late when it has been so critical in the uptight U.S.

       She wasn’t silent about Prop 8. She made comments against it a couple times and came out against discrimination not only against the Roma people in Romania, but also the gays. In many African countries, those who speak in favor of gay rights or who are thought of as gay are subject to be killed or ousted from the country. If she speaks out against Malawian laws, she could get arrested or prohibited from entering Malawi… a land where hundreds of thousands of children are dependent on her for survival. The best way to fight homophobia is to educate. Her programs are designed to provide education and acceptance. She does more good in the long run by educating, than by tooting her own horn and calling out the government for the sake of publicity, like some other celebrities might do.

       Who’s ignoring the big picture, MLC? I think that would be the Madonna sycophants who think she is perfect. She absolutely was silent about Prop 8. She loves publicity so it would have been in headlines if she’d taken a public stance or donated funds to fight Prop 8 as other celebrities did. Madonna has never been afraid of pissing people off or starting a controversy so the fact that she is saying nothing about Malawi’s inhumane laws speaks volumes. Grow up, please and see the facts as they are. That type of discrimination cannot wait for a select group of little girls to hopefully be educated in the ways of human rights. How ironic is it that a gay icon supports a nation with such hateful anti-gay laws?
