Madonna’s Security Teams Help Police With Investigation

Madonna has been embroiled in a police investigation after a suspected thief plunged 100 feet from an apartment block and landed by the back door of the star’s London home on Friday afternoon.

The “Holiday” hitmaker’s $15 million Marylebone property was surrounded by cops after a man being chased by officials attempted to climb out of a window in the block next to Madonna’s property.

He fell into a communal parking area just a few feet from the star’s door and was admitted to a central London hospital, where he is said to be in a critical condition.

Metropolitan Police officers have referred the case to officials at the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC), who will allegedly review footage from Madonna‚Äôs CCTV cameras, which are thought to have captured the horror on film, according to Britain’s Mail on Sunday.

Madonna’s head of security tells the publication, “We have given the police everything they need. I can’t say if it was CCTV film. I also can’t say if Madonna was here at the time of the accident.”

The singer was in the U.K. capital on Thursday and was seen partying at Aura nightclub with her new boyfriend Brahim Zaibat, before leaving the venue in the early hours of Friday morning.

Rumour: Madonna wants to run a London nightclub

The pop superstar met with Malaysian entrepreneur Tony Fernandes to discuss buying a stake in his company, The Aura Group, which owns several nightspots including Aura Mayfair.

An associate of the singer told The Daily Telegraph newspaper: “Madonna sees it as a natural move. She has ambitious plans.”

The ‘Material Girl’ hitmaker is a regular visitor to the exclusive club – which is owned by Fernandes, events and motorsport entrepreneur Jonny Dodge and Supper Club proprietor Alberto Barbieri – and is believed to be keen to put her own influence into the venue.

If Madonna does become a stakeholder in Aura she will be able to count her ex-husband Guy Ritchie as a business rival as he owns The Punchbowl pub in the exclusive area of the city.

Pharrell confirms Madonna collaboration

Pharrell Williams has confirmed he is working with Madonna.

The Neptunes and N.E.R.D. star has a busy 2011 planned, but remains tight-lipped as to what his collaboration with the ‘4 Minutes’ hitmaker will involve.

He said: “I’ve just been all over the place from project to project. Right now I’m working on a lil’ Neptunes music. And there’s another ‘Despicable Me’ film to score. We’ve also got some stuff going on with Madonna.”

Pharrell loves working with other people and says he learns a lot from each of his collaborators.

He added to website News.com.au: “I learn in every process. Every session I have I try to take something from and learn different things – how to make great music, how to make that music greater.

“Working with Daft Punk – they’ve been our buddies for like 10 years, and watching those guys work is pretty amazing. They make great beats and it was cool to collaborate with them. I love Uffie – she’s got a great energy about her and Nelly is really sweet and super-talented.”
