What are you looking at? This spring, all eyes will be on Logo’s new Madonna-themed documentary, Strike a Pose.
The network announced Thursday it will debut the nonfiction feature, which traveled the 2016 festival circuit with appearances at Berlinale and the Tribeca Film Festival, on April 6 at 9 p.m. ET.
Directed by Ester Gould and Reijer Zwaan, the film revisits several dancers who worked with the Material Girl on her Blond Ambition Tour some 25 years after Alek Keshishian captured their rise to prominence in his 1991 documentary Madonna: Truth or Dare. That film went on to become a pop cultural phenomenon, earning $15 million at the box office on a reported budget of $4.5 million.
